UPFDA Spring Conference Brings Industry Leaders Together in Charleston

The 2026 UPFDA Spring Conference brought members together in Charleston, South Carolina, for two days of education, networking, and industry collaboration focused on the future of pest management. Through expert presentations, candid discussions on industry challenges, insights into emerging technologies, and a hands-on volunteer project benefiting the local community, attendees explored ways to strengthen the industry while building valuable relationships. The event reinforced UPFDA's commitment to leadership, service, and ensuring a strong future for generations to come.

If you are a supplier to the industry, you are welcome to attend the Spring Conference held in April each year. Next year's dates and location will be announced shortly. UPFDA Members Bring New Charitable Partner Program to Life in Charleston

UPFDA launched its new Charitable Partner Program with a hands-on volunteer project benefiting P.E.S.T. Relief International at Charleston's Star Gospel Mission. During the UPFDA Spring Conference, 21 members donated their time and expertise to improve living conditions for residents through pest prevention measures and the assembly of essential care kits.

UPFDA on the Hill: Members Gather During NPMA Legislative Day

UPFDA tried something new during NPMA's Legislative Day by holding an in-person Board meeting—and it was a great success. The strong participation from Board members and guests alike reinforced the value of face-to-face collaboration and member engagement. While virtual meetings certainly have their place, there's no substitute for gathering in person, and the addition of interested members and prospective members was the icing on the cake. As a result, UPFDA plans to make Legislative Day Board meetings a regular annual tradition.

The UPFDA Board gathered in Boston to plan future initiatives, including launching a new Charitable Partner Program, redesigning the UPFDA website, and shaping the 2026 Spring Conference in Charleston. A social highlight was an evening of fun at Fenway Park as the Red Sox faced the Orioles.

The United Producers, Formulators and Distributors Association (UPFDA) will hold its annual Board of Directors election during the Annual Membership Meeting on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. Each member company in attendance will be eligible to cast one vote.
