UPFDA's Charitable Partner
The UPFDA Charitable Partnership Program reflects our members’ commitment to giving back to the community. Each year, UPFDA will contribute $5,000 to a selected charitable organization. In addition to financial support, UPFDA encourages our members to engage with the selected partner through volunteer service and other participatory efforts (“sweat equity”).

UPFDA Charitable Partner
Following a structured and member-driven selection process, P.E.S.T. Relief International was chosen as UPFDA’s first charitable partner. UPFDA members were invited to submit nominations, which were then reviewed by a committee and evaluated against established eligibility guidelines, including nonprofit status, national scope, alignment with UPFDA values, and opportunities for member engagement. From a competitive pool of four highly worthwhile organizations, the UPFDA Board voted to select P.E.S.T. Relief International.
P.E.S.T. Relief International is an organization of pest management professionals dedicated to empowering, sustaining, and transforming the lives of orphaned, abused, and at-risk individuals. Through its REST Initiative, the organization works to make orphanages and shelters safer places to sleep by providing clean bedding, pest control services, and support for safe shelter, nutrition, hygiene, and physical as well as emotional health. The initiative is rooted in the belief that every individual deserves comfort, dignity, and a safe environment in which to heal and thrive.
